Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Sambit Patra said here on Tuesday that Prime Minister Narndra Modi delivered a wholesome, comprehensive and objective speech yesterday at the Council on Foreign Affairs (CFR) in Washington.

"It was a very comprehensive speech which dealt with all issues at home and also about the global phenomena. He talked about the achievements of this government, the benefits of investing in India. He said that India would move ahead its economy on three pillars, agriculture, manufacturing and service sector. The 21st century would be India's century and all the investors should come forward to invest in India," said Patra.

Yesterday, Prime Minister Modi had asserted that agriculture, manufacturing and service were the three pillars of the economy that can help build a new India, while addressing the Council on Foreign Affairs (CFR) in Washington.

Patra also lauded the Prime Minister for emphasizing on the fact that tourism will unite whereas terrorism will divide.

"He was particularly emphatic about terrorism, he said that there is nothing called as good terrorism and bad terrorism, all terrorism has to be shunned and has to be done away with, right from the roots. He also said that humanity has to unite together to fight against the inhuman forces in the world," Patra added.

At the CFR, Modi had also asserted that there is a need to take the issue of terrorism very seriously as it is the biggest threat to the world.
