BJP trying to divert attention from AITUC strike: Gopal Rai

Delhi Transport and Labour Minister Gopal Rai on Saturday said that the trade union strike in the national capital was an organized out by BJP workers to divert the attention of the people from the strike of All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) strike.

"The strike has its effect in Delhi as well. The taxi and auto union is on strike as well, as they are inflicting damage and violence. It's an organized strike by Bhartiya Janata Party workers in Delhi to divert the attention of the people from the strike of All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC).

The Trade union members today called for a day long nationwide strike over NDA's proposed changes in labour laws. Essential services like banking and transport were impacted with 10 central trade unions going ahead with the strike.
