Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia on Saturday reiterated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was using wrong means to form a government in Delhi through the backdoor.

"From the past two months the BJP is trying to form a government in Delhi through the backdoor. They have lost the confidence to win in Delhi and therefore they have resorted to such means. We have told this to the Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung as well and the biggest proof of this is the footage of the sting we conducted," Sisodia told ANI here.

"The BJP has approached over 15 MLAs from our party, they are trying to break both the Congress and AAP and we have few of the clips of the same. We will give the proof later. Right now we are studying everything and working things out. We will keep it in front of the public and the press when the time is right," he added.

Speculations are rife that the BJP will soon form the Government in Delhi after Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung wrote to President Pranab Mukherjee recommending that the BJP, as the single largest party, should be invited to form the government in Delhi.

Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay also clarified that while his party was ready for fresh elections whenever they are held, it will also critically analyze any invitation to form the government in Delhi.

Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal, however, has been pushing for polls in Delhi and had also reportedly asked Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung to withdraw the letter sent by him to President Pranab Mukherjee.

According to reports, Kejriwal also gave the Lieutenant Governor a CD of the sting operation which showed BJP leader Sher Singh Dagar attempting to bribe the AAP MLAs.

The Supreme Court had earlier on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of the case on formation of government in Delhi till October 10.
