British scientists have developed a blood test that can predict who will suffer from arthritis, they also said that it will be available in the next 5 years.
Researcher Dr Mohammed Sharif of Bristol University said that they've identified two biomarkers (indicators of future disease), Daily Express reported.
Medical research charity Arthritis Research UK has awarded Dr Sharif's team almost 300,000 pounds to find if the biomarkers, found in the blood of patients, could be used not only to diagnose the condition but also to inform doctors which patients are likely to get worse over time.
