BMC elections 2017: Shah Rukh Khan casts his vote

With many Bollywood actors promoting the message to exercise their right to vote, superstar Shah Rukh Khan too cast his vote for the 2017 Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) polls in the Mount Marry church and high school in Bandra, Mumbai.

Soon after voting, the 'Raees' actor flaunted his inked finger in front of the cameras.

Many bollywood celebrities, including Ranveer Singh, Rekha, Anushka Sharma, Sonali Kulkarni and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar came out to cast their vote.

The BMC polls are being dubbed as 'mini assembly' elections with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Shiv Sena, the Congress, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in fray.

 

Polling for 227 seats of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai started at 7:30 am and will conclude at 7:30 pm.
