Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson and former prime minister Khaleda Zia continued to remain confined to her Gulshan office for the fourth consecutive day on Tuesday, with law enforcers barricading her exit from the premises.
A dozen of laden-trucks which were parked since Sunday midnight near Khaleda's office from early yesterday, have been taken away.
But the main gate still remains locked, the Daily Star reports.
The BNP chief made her last-ditch effort to come out yesterday afternoon by a car, but law enforcers locked all the gates.
Cops also used pepper spray to disperse the party leaders and activists waiting inside the gate. Several journalists were injured in the police action.
