The bodyguard of the former Supreme leader of North Korea Kim Jong Il described his terror and how "even when he was happy he would be rude and could chop off their heads".
Kim's bodyguard Lee Young-Guk said that Kim required complete loyalty and any suspicion on deceit would be dealt with extremely harsh consequences.
Lee Young-Guk was chosen to protect Kim in 1979, while his father Kim Il Sung still ruled North Korea.
According to the Daily Mail, Lee said that he would be brainwashed by the regime while he was working with Kim Jong Un's father during 1980s.
He also described how the advisors would throw themselves onto the grass when he arrived because they wanted to hide.
Lee also said that he had to train extensively to become an elite bodyguard of the leader.
