Six-time Olympic champion Usain Bolt warmed up for World Championships by winning the 100 metres at the Anniversary Games in London.

The Jamaican sprinter, who has been struggling for fitness, clocked 9.87seconds to win the final race in wet conditions.

Reflecting on his triumph, Bolt said that he wanted to run faster, but insisted that he would reach his peak soon, the BBC reported.

Bolt will defend his world title next month when he will face in-form Justin Gatlin in the World Championships in Beijing.
