Bomb blast targeted at police vehicle rocks Istanbul

Several people were left injured after a bomb blast, targeting a police bus, took place in central Istanbul district of Turkey on Tuesday morning.

The remote-controlled bomb exploded as a service shuttle carrying police officers was passing in the Beyazit district of Istanbul, reports Guardian.

Following the blast, ambulances and fire engines were dispatched to the scene. As per reports, five people have suffered injuries according to initial findings.

No one has claimed the responsibility for the attack as of now.
