Border advises Oz squad to play aggressively but ditch 'sledging for another day'

Former Australia cricket team captain Allan Border has advised Australian players to play hard and aggressive cricket, while also calling to tone down heavy sledging ahead of Adelaide Test against India.

Border believes that coach Lehmann would be telling his players to play a hard edged Australian brand of cricket in memory of late cricketer Phillip Hughes. He said that it would be tough for the players to enjoy their cricket this summer, adding that one would see a mellower Australian side not involving in heavy sledging this time, News.com.au reported.

The cricketing fraternity has come closer in the wake of Phillip Hughes tragedy and the dignified response from other Test playing nations has been hailed as impressive.

Ahead of the first Test against India, Australia will have their first training session today in Adelaide.
