International borders with Myanmar and Bangladesh and inter-state borders have been sealed in Mizoram which will go to the polls tomorrow along with the by-poll to Hrangturzo Assembly seat.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made to ensure free and fair polls in the state.

The Election Commission of India on Tuesday had postponed the Lok Sabha polls for Mizoram till tomorrow which was initially scheduled to be held on April 7 as a Mizoram-based civil society bodies called a 72-hour bandh in the state.

The shutdown was in protest against Bru polling in six refugee camps in Tripura and to urge the Election Commission not to count Bru votes that have been polled via postal ballot.
