Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has apologised in a federal court to his victims while he was officially sentenced to death.
According to BBC, Tsarnaev told his victims that he was sorry for all the lives that he had taken and for causing them suffering.
Earlier, he remained impassive as the victims condemned his "cowardly" act.
Four people were killed and 264 injured in the bombing at the finish line of the Boston marathon in 2013.
