Canadian tennis player Eugenie Bouchard has filed a case against the United States Tennis Association (USTA) for their negligence due to which she suffered a concussion in a locker room that eventually forced her to withdraw from the season's final Grand Slam tournament.
Bouchard revealed that she slipped because of a slippery and dangerous substance in a locker room.
According to Sport24, Bouchard was also ruled out of the Tokyo, China and Wuhan tournament because she failed to recover from injury that she had suffered after her third-round mixed doubles win along with Australian partner Nick Kyrgios.
The 21-year-old, however, hoped that she would recover soon from her injury and make a comeback next year.
