Brad Pitt reportedly turned down the cruel role played by Michael Fassbender in '12 Years a Slave' because of his children.
A source told the New York Post that the hunky star didn't want to play a plantation owner and slave master because he didn't want his kids to see him in this role.
The Hollywood actor, instead, choose to portray a decent white man who appears at the end of the film, which has bagged the Golden Globe Award for Best Picture Drama and has received nine Oscar nominations.
