'Breaking Bad', 'Modern Family' win top prizes at Emmys 2014

AMC'S 'Breaking bad' and ABC's 'Modern Family' ruled at 66th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2014, with five awards and three awards respectively.

Breaking bad grabbed the best drama series, Bryan Cranston for 'best lead actor' in a drama series Aaron Paul for 'best supporting actor' in a drama series, and Anna Gunn for 'best supporting actress' in a drama series, whereas 'Modern Family' won the best comedy series award, ABC News reported.

While, Julianna Margulies won the "best actress" award in a drama series for her role in 'The Good Wife' and Jim Parsons picked up the best actor award in the comedy series for CBS's 'The Big Bang Theory'.

 

Benedict Cumberbatch acquired the best actor in a miniseries award for 'Sherlock: His Last Vow,' Jessica Lange got the best actress in a miniseries award for FX's 'American Horror Story: Coven' and 'Fargo' won for the best miniseries award.
