Retired Australia pacer Brett Lee has said that an Australia-India final in the 2015 ICC World Cup would be 'fantastic' and 'incredible' but also added that India needs good pacers in order to 'put their best foot forward'.
Lee said that India, defending world champions, has 'very good' batsmen and 'great' spinners but they require fast bowlers who can bowl at '140-kph' in order to do well, especially in overseas conditions, the report added.
According to The Nation, Lee praised Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his deputy Virat Kohli saying that a captain needs to 'lead the team from front' and this is exactly what Dhoni and Virat do.
Meanwhile Lee has said that Australia, who would be hosting the 2015 ICC World Cup, is ready for the World Cup as Mitchell Johnson has led the 'turnaround' for Australian cricket with his 'fast and aggressive' bowling.
Lee, who has released some music albums including one with the Indian playback legend Asha Bhonsale, also praised Australian coach Darren Lehmann and Brad Haddin for making the players more 'comfortable' and boosting the team's confident.
