A bride turned up to her wedding in a fire engine after her original transport burst into flames.
Irini Georgiou was on her way to her traditional church ceremony in a 1969 vintage Plymouth Barracuda car, when smoke began to billow from the engine, the Mirror reported.
However, the fire crew who put out the blaze rushed her to the ceremony in their fire tender.
Groom Phillip Critoph, 25, waited with 200 guests at Christ Church Little Heath, in Potters Bar, Herts, when the fire broke.
Smoke poured from the engine, the car's horn began blaring and flames appeared under the bonnet.
The fire crew soon extinguished the blaze and after checking with their control room, they rushed the bride and her property-dealer dad Michael Georgiou to the church.
The ceremony was delayed by 30-minute.
