A mother of six children, Runa Khan, from Luton has been jailed for five years and three months for promoting terrorism on Facebook wherein she posted pictures of a suicide vest and her children holding guns and swords.
According to the BBC, Khan also passed details of a route to Syria to an undercover police officer.
Judge Peter Birts QC said that what can be interpreted form the pictures is that Khan intended to radicalize others.
The woman said in an interview that she was only posting her "belief".
She also said that she was not suggesting the killing of innocent people when she talked about jihad and that she spoke about suicide missions because it was a feared war tactic and should only be used in a battlefield.
