Have you have ever wondered how to win a scrabble game? These tips by two of Britain's top players will come in handy.

According to Scrabble players Barry Grossman and Allan Simmons, the best shortcuts are to use obscure words, ike those without vowels which every Scrabble champion knows - brrr, grrl, pfft and psst, the Daily Express reported.

There are other weird words like euoi (a Bacchanalian cry of impassioned rapture) and Jiao (a Chinese monetary unit) which can be used while playing the game.

They also said that the best letter to pick out of the bag is an "S" which can be used to build on other words.

Lastly, clever tactics are what will put you on top of the game, which was first launched 75 years ago.
