A British jihadist named John has become the world's most wanted man after the beheading of the United States journalist James Foley.

According to the Mirror, the jihadist is said to be an educated man from London's East End.

There were claims that three people had been behind the killing of James Foley. They were called 'The Beatles' by captives because of their nationality.

The US security forces have launched a manhunt to track him down.

Islamic State militants in Iraq said that it was a response to US airstrikes in Northern Iraq.
