British Prime Minister David Cameron has revealed that the most exciting moment of the year for him was when he got cricket tips from England legend Geoffrey Boycott.

Cameron, who even put on a Yorkshire accent as he tried to impersonate the England batting legend, further stated that England winning the Ashes was also one of his biggest joys in 2013.

According to the Mirror, Cameron, who met Boycott during the second Ashes Test match at Lord's this summer, said that the former Yorkshire player had criticised his batting technique after seeing him play during a visit to India.

Stating the Boycott grabbed his arm and showed him how to stick out his elbow properly while batting, Cameron further said that although it was an extraordinary moment for him, he was thrilled that he had someone like Boycott to guide him through the intricacies of cricket.

Boycott had scored 8,114 Test runs, the report added.
