England fast bowler Stuart Broad has said that he has struggled a lot to come to terms with the death of Australian Cricketer Philip Hughes.

Broad's mind is locked on the terrible fate of Hughes who died as a result of a head injury after being struck by a ball.

Broad said that he knew everyone in cricket and that it was hard to come to terms with it because one never thinks that someone could pass away when they walk out to bat, reported the Guardian.

He said that Hughes' death has been quite hard on him.

Hughes was a quiet person but very "cheecky chappie", said Broad, adding that he has played five or six Tests against him and has had a couple of beers together.
