BSF apprehends Pakistan national near international border in Arnia sector

A Pakistan national on Tuesday was apprehended by the Border Security Force (BSF) near the international border in Arnia Sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

The person is currently being grilled by the BSF authorities.

No official announcement regarding the identity of the person has yet been given by the authorities. The statement of the BSF officials as well as police is sill awaited.

The incident comes in the wake of the Valley boiling over the Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani's encounter followed by mass protests that claimed around 40 lives.

The situation further worsened with the reported 'media gag' that further sent the valley into an isolation.

 

Earlier on Saturday, three militants were killed as the Army foiled an infiltration bid in Poonch.

This was the first infiltration attempt by militants from across the LoC in the State after the protests broke out in.

Meanwhile, the curfew imposed in the valley in wake of the protest continued for the elevent consecutive day.
