BSF Jawan Ramzan Parray shot dead by terrorists in North Kashmir

An unarmed jawan of the Border Security Force (BSF) was shot dead by terrorists on Wednesday evening.

It's reported that the terrorists opened fire at them, injuring four. Constable Mohammad Ramzan Parray died on the spot, while his father and three relatives are critically injured.

The 31-year-old BSF constable was deployed with the border-guarding force's 73rd battalion and had come home to the Bandipora district on leave.

The BSF, India confirmed the news on Twitter: "Prahari Pariwar stands by the family of one of our member Constable Md Ramzan who was cowardly killed by terrorists today.He was on leave"

Nitish Kumar, who heads the police in North Kashmir, tweeted that the four were "critically injured".

 

He tweeted, "Terrorists killed BSF Ct. Mohd. Ramzan Parray at his residence in #Bandipore.He was on leave.His father & 3 relatives are critically injured.
