A head constable of the Border Security Force (BSF) was injured Monday evening during firing from the Pakistan side in the Ramgarh Sector of Samba District.
The BSF personnel was identified as Ram Niwas Meena.
The firing incident took place at around 4 p.m..
Meena was hit on the right side of his chest and on his foot.
He has been admitted to the Government Medical Hospital in Jammu for treatment.
