Hundreds of Buddhist devotees gathered at the Venuban Bihar monastery in Agartala to celebrate the "kathin chibor dan" festival.
During the festival, Buddhists donate different items for the monks including robes made out of the cloth weaved in their own looms.
On the occasion, people prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of the nation and mankind.
