Salman Khan has definitely received a good eidi this year as his recently released Indo-Pak themed picture 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' has made a good business cashing-in 27 crores on its opening day.
Taran Adarsh, the trade analyst, broke the news via Twitter.
The 49-year-old Bollywood actor's debut film as a producer and his second collaboration with director Kabir Khan after 'Ek Tha Tiger', has opened to rave reviews and hasn't received even a single negative response so far.
However, this Kareena Kapoor starrer film's earnings are almost half of 'Baahubali's 50 crores of collection on the first day, but has surpassed some of 2015's big openers such as 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns', 'ABCD 2' and 'Dil Dhadakne Do'.
The film released in 4500 screens in the domestic domain and 800 across the globe, depicts 'bhaijaan' helping a deaf and mute girl to reach her home in Pakistan.
According to trade pundits, 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' will easily touch the 100 crore mark in the first weekend itself.
