Arsenal center half Per Mertesacker has warned team members that Wednesday night's Champion League opponents Bayern Munich are 'untouchables'.
The German center half is said to be a key man for manager Arsene Wenger as the Premier League title-chasers face the European champions. He admits that defeating Bayern Munich would be tough.
According to metro.co.uk, Coach Pep Guardiola's men have only lost twice in the last eleven months since their 2-0 loss to Arsenal in Munich the previous year.
Ahead of the last 16 first leg tie, Mertesacker said the only thing that made him positive about the encounter was the fact that the Gunners had defeated the Bundesliga giants in Munich.
Though he desperately wants to make life tough for Bayern, Mertesacker reckons they are even better than they were last year when they lifted The European Cup.
