Home Minister Tanga Byaling has urged the people to cooperate in the construction process of the Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) as it is an asset being created for their benefit.
Byaling began the execution of Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) in the Upper Subansiri district at around one kilometre from Daporijo earlier on Janyary 13 in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Komkar Dulom, AE ( Highways) Gemar Padu, JE( Highways) A. Makcha and representatives from the construction company T. K. Engineering Consortium.
The Deputy Commissioner assured the construction agency of the district administration's support and appreciated the land donors for agreeing to let the work start before the payment of compensation process has started.
He also informed that the assessment of assets has been carried out by the land assessment team put in place by the district administration.
The company, while assuring that quality would be maintained during the construction process and that attempt would be made to complete the execution before the stipulated time, sought everybody's cooperation.
It was also informed that repair and maintenance of the Bailey bridge over the Subansiri River has begun.
