ASI Mahender Singh sustained splinter and bullet injury on his neck. A set of six IEDs were planted in a series and were set off in one go between village Gome and Gattakal in Koyalibeda.

On November 8, at least four civilians and one Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel were killed after Naxals triggered a blast in a bus near Bacheli in Dantewada district.

As many as 18 assembly seats in eight districts of Chhattisgarh will go to polls tomorrow (November 12). The polling for remaining 72 seats will take place on November 20 and the counting of votes will take place on December 11.
