The legal chief of Cricket Australia (CA) is reportedly preparing charges to be laid against former New Zealand batsman Lou Vincent, who has confessed to match-fixing in several international games.

Already charged by the England Cricket Board for fixing county games, leaked International Cricket Council documents of Vincent's confession include the 2012 Champions League in South Africa while playing for the Auckland Aces.

According to News.com.au, Dean Kino, who is also the head legal adviser of the Champions League Twenty20 tournament- jointly owned by India, Australia and South Africa, is expected to issue the charges next month.

The report mentioned that no Australian player or match or any games played in Australia, including the Big Bash, are under investigation by the ICC's anti-corruption unit (ACU), which has made it clear that the investigation surrounding Vincent does not include any current international players.

Vincent's former Sussex teammate Naveed Arif has also been charged with fixing county matches while acting Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) head Sunil Gavaskar has admitted that two more players were approached by illegal bookmakers during the current IPL but reported the contact to anti-corruption authorities.

Vincent alleges he was introduced to match-fixing by former New Zealand team mate Chris Cairns, who strenuously denies the allegations, the report added.
