British Prime Minister David Cameron is likely to offer support to Malaysia and Indonesia in the battle against Islamist extremists during his visit to South East Asia.

According to the BBC, it comes as concerns about the terrorist group Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) are growing in the region.

Cameron said the terrorists can be defeated only if the countries unite against their "common enemy".

Cameron will talk about this issue during his four-day trip to South East Asia.

He is heading to Indonesia on the first stop of his tour, which is primarily intended to boost trade with Britain.
