As the Indian captain turned 29 on Sunday, the skipper's friends, fans, colleagues, including both former and current cricketers did not miss an opportunity of showering their love and wishing him on this special day.

The dressing room fun on his birthday was clearly visible in the photos BCCI posted through its official Twitter account, captioning #HappybirthdayVirat.

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya also uploaded a picture of Virat's cake smeared face on Twitter and captioned it - Revenge no. 1, Happy birthday, skipper- @imVkohli

Head coach Ravi Shastri also wished Kohli on Twitter and wished another fabulous year for the right-handed batsman.

Left-handed batsman Suresh Raina praised Kohli for his majestic performance on field and wished him on Twitter.

Captain Kohli thanked all the teammates and the fans for their love and warm wishes with a tweet which read, "Thank you everyone for all the love and the wishes. God Bless you all."
