Just after a year of marriage, American rappers Cardi B and husband Offset have called it quits.
Cardi B a.k.a Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar and rapper husband Offset a.k.a OKiari Kendrell Cephus welcomed their first child, Kulture Kiari Cephus on July 11 this year.
The 'Bodak Yellow' rapper made the announcement through an Instagram video, in which she said, "So everybody been bugging me and everything and you know I have been trying to work things out with my baby father. We are really good friends and we are really good business partners- you know he's always somebody that I run to talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other but things just haven't been working out between us for a long time."
"It's nobody fault I guess we just grew out of love but we are not together anymore. I don't know it might take time to get a divorce and I'm going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter's father," she concluded.
Cardi captioned the post as, "There you go.peace and love."
The announcement comes days after Cardi shared photos of herself and Offset kissing at a recent Lakers game.
The couple, who secretly got married in September 2017, confirmed the wedding in June 2018.
