Brit boxer Carl Froch, who recently added the WBF title to his collection, refrained from making love to his model girlfriend Rachael Cordingley for 3 months so that he could prepare for Saturday's fight with Mikkel Kessler.
Froch, who worked out four hours a day and five times a week, and his 26-year-old underwear model girlfriend, who is also a former Miss Maxim contest winner, even slept in separate rooms during the period of abstinence, the New York Daily News reported.
The 35-year-old sportsperson told the Sun that he trains so hard that all his energy is taken up in the sessions.
He said that he feels stronger and fitter when he abstains from sex, as his body holds on to more testosterone.
The 4-time world champion professional boxer asserted that women weaken legs and he doesn't get weak legs when he is abstaining.
He added that after he won the match he and Cordingley had a hot, steamy night of passion that was building up for the last three months.
