To save the city of Townsville; Buttercup, Blossom and Bubbles are back! Cartoon Network recently released the first preview clip of the new 'Powerpuff Girls' revival series.
The spot shows the crime-fighting trio clashing with an evil lumberjack, who threatens to destroy a hippie commune, reports Us magazine.
The heroes' first Cartoon Network iteration, which turned the wisecracking threesome into a national phenomenon, signed off in 2005 after six seasons.
The 'Powerpuff Girls reboot' premieres on Cartoon Network in April.
