Casio Computer Co., Ltd announced the release of two collaboration watch collection with the French fashion brand, PIGALLE- DW-5600PGW and 5600PGB-thus expanding the G-SHOCK line of shock-resistant watches.
Initially, a select shop opened by Stephane Ashpool in 2009 in the Pigalle district of Paris, the Pigalle brand was launched in 2010.
With a box logo that symbolises PIGALLE, the brand is carried by famous select shops all over the world.
Pigalle resonates with the way G-SHOCK supports street sport culture, and this marks the first collaboration between the two brands.
Inspired by PIGALLE's latest basketball-themed collection, the new G-SHOCK models are a mix of refined Paris street styles, and can be worn on or off the court.
The DW-5600 was selected as the base model, because its compact size makes it easy to wear while playing basketball and it can be worn by both men and women. The new watch comes in off-white and black. For the off-white model, the side buttons, buckle, and case back have been finished using rose gold ion plating.
The dial features a basketball court motif, and the mirror effect also adds shine. The box logo that symbolizes the PIGALLE brand is shown on the case back and band. When the backlight is activated, the same logo also appears on the LCD. With the addition of special packaging, these are truly special models that express the worldview of the two brands.
