The Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday said the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) should also question Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the 2G spectrum scam case as all the decision were taken with PM's concurrence.
BJP spokesmen Prakash Javadekar said, "The CBI must interrogate the prime minister in connection with the 2G scam as the matter is in court and the probe will not be completed if he is not interrogated. It is clear that PM is also involved in the scam."
"It is very serious revelation of former telecom minister A Raja in the CBI court. While answering thousands of questions he has made it very categorically clear that every decision about 2G was taken after the PM okayed it," he added.
2G scam accused A.Raja on Monday had said in the CBI court that that all decisions were taken with the PM's 'concurrence' and not 'unilaterally'.
"The PM owes an answer to the whole country regarding his complicity in the whole 2G scam. The CBI must interrogate the PM and the PMO. It is very logical," Javadekar further added.
He further described Congress-led UPA Government as 'the most corrupt government that India has ever seen'.
