The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the results for the Class X examinations on Thursday.
The overall pass percentage for this year is 96.29 percent in Delhi, while in Ajmer, Panchkula and Guwahati it stands at 98.03 percent, 97.97 percent and 86.55 percent respectively.
Chennai boasts a pass percentage of 99.03 percent, closely followed by Trivandrum with 99.77 percent.
Allahabad, Dehradun, Bhubaneshwar and Patna have a pass percentage of 98.46 percent, 97.37 percent, 97.15 percent and 98.10 percent respectively.
Over 13 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Class X exams this year.
Students can check their results by logging on to cbse.nic.in/cbseresults.nic.in and clicking on CBSE Class X Exam Results 2015 link.
Besides the websites, the results can be accessed via SMS by sending CBSE 10 roll no to 57766 for BSNL users.

The scores can also be accessed by dialling 24300699 (Delhi), 011-24300699 (other parts of the country). MTNL subscribers can call 28127030 (Delhi) and 011-28127030 (other parts of the country).
According to reports, the CBSE website hit a snag because of heavy traffic, causing extra stress for some students.
The Board had earlier declared the results for the Class XII examinations on Monday.
