Ceasefire violations: Rijiju points finger at Pak

ANI New Delhi

Minister State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju on Wednesday held Pakistan responsible for the ongoing ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC) and said that the government's stand is very clear on the issue.

"The government's stand is clear on ceasefire violations. If there is firing from other side, we retaliate heavily. There has been no ceasefire violation from India's side. We know the sensitivity of these issues," Rijiju told the media here.

The Pakistan Government had yesterday summoned India's Deputy High Commissioner and lodged a protest over the latest 'unprovoked' ceasefire violations at the Line of Control, accusing the Indian troops of killing a woman in Jandrot Sector on Saturday.
