Animal lovers can soon own their own Cecil as the toy tribute to much-loved lion will go on sale next month.
All earnings from this sale will go to Oxford University's Wildlife Conservation Research Unit.
According to sources, Ty Warner, founder and chairman of plush toys manufacturer Ty Inc, has turned Cecil the Lion into Beanie Baby and has promised that 100 percent of earnings from its sale will be donated to wildlife charity WildCRU, ,Oxford University's Wildlife Conservation Research Unit, the Mirror reported.
The toy manufacture further said he believes that this Beanie Baby will raise awareness for animal conservation and will provide comfort to all those who were sad by the loss of Cecil.
Sources added that WildCRU has already collected the donations following the death of 13-year-old Cecil in Zimbabwe last month.
