Kutchina, the market leaders of kitchen appliances and modular kitchens, launched its range of small appliances with 31 new products across nine categories, which includes appliances like cook tops, toasters, sandwich makers, OTG, mixer grinder, juicer, electric kettle, inductions and hand blenders.
With an existing stronghold into the kitchen market and within a network of dealers specializing in providing kitchen solutions, this new launch is a natural extension of the company's efforts to provide holistic solutions to its customers where small appliances were the only space which was left to be filled.
The new range of Kutchina appliances will be available through modern retail as well as traditional forms of retailing through distribution and dealer networks. The company has a strong distribution network which reaches out to all major cities in the country with 1700 dealers, 130 distributors and 24 company owned exclusive stores. In phases, an exclusive Small Appliances range would also be available on e-retail thus ensuring the exclusivity of the traditional and e-commerce channels.

The current market size of small appliance in India is Rs 10,000 crore of which the premium to mid premium segment is around Rs 3500 crore. The consumer small appliance market is believed to be growing at 12 percent per annum. "We plan to infuse 25 percent of our total marketing and advertising spends over the next two years as we aim to capture two percent of the market pie," added Bajoria.
There is a product for everyone at every affordable price range. Price range of the products are Rs 1499 to 1999 for Electric Kettles, Rs 1399 to 2999 for sandwich makers, Rs 1799 to 2499 for toasters, Rs 1499 to 3299 for hand blenders, Rs 3499 for juicer, Rs OTG 5999 to 6999 for OTG, Rs 3299 to 3999 for induction cook tops, Rs 2999 to 5299 for mixer grinder. The range also comprises of cook tops from Rs 5990 to 10990.
