A celebrated graphic designer and typographer has reportedly crafted a new typeface for England's official World Cup kit.

Neville Broody reportedly created the latest official typography for England's World Cup uniform from scratch, focusing on the 'intersection between flair and workman-like reliability'.

According to The Verge, the typeface reflects the redesigned ensemble as a whole on the new kit, which has been produced by Nike.

The new kit reportedly aims at honoring old England kits while presenting something fresh and modern and Brody has done the same by toying with the pinstripe that runs through the shirt to create a stenciled look.

Brody believes that the typography he created emphasizes the idea of 'innovation, invention and surprise', built around a more geometric structure, the report added.
