Hollywood's power couple, George Clooney and Amal Clooney, became proud parents to twins, daughter Ella and son Alexander.
Hollywood was quick to shower its joy and congratulations on the pair through social media.
TV host Ellen Degeners took to Twitter and wrote, "Welcome to the world, Ella and Alexander Clooney. Congratulations, George and Amal, or as I'm now calling you, Ocean's Four."
Actress-turned-activist Mia Farrow also expressed her happiness, writing "Wishing ??Ella and Alexander?? Clooney a warm welcome and every blessing - and congratulations to Amal and George!"
American journalist Katie Couric also congratulated the pair and tweeted, "Congratulations to Amal & George Clooney on welcoming their twins, Ella and Alexander!!!"
Yesterday, the couple announced the birth of their twins through a statement to CNN, which read, "This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives. Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine."
The Clooneys have been married for two and a half years, after tying the knot in Venice, Italy, in 2014.
