Chabad centre to reopen after six years of 26/11 attacks

Nearly six years after the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, the Chabad centre at the Nariman House is set to reopen today.

A visitor said, "What happened here was sad and I wish such incidents do not happen again. The exhibition put here is good. The public should come, see and remember that day."

Manish, another visitor, said, "What happened on 26/11 was terrifying. We want to tell the government that whatever is happening in India should not happen. There should be strict security in place".

Six years ago, Kasab and nine of his aides unleashed terror on the country's financial capital, killing at least 166 people.

 

Ajmal Kasab, the only attacker who was captured alive was hanged on 21 November 2012 at 7:30 a.m. and buried at Yerwada Jail in Pune.
