According to the BBC, Eden Hazard opened the scoring for City 11 minutes after the break when he fired a low strike past Allan McGregor, while Fernando Torres added a second with another low shot, from 18 yards, to seal the win, in the last minutes of the game.
Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech beat the legendary Peter Bonetti's club record with his 209th clean sheet in the game, the report added.
