Chelsea's new 26 million pounds Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado might upset opponents on field with his skills, but off the field he's just a big mummy's boy and claims that his mum has been both, a mother and a father, to him.
Cuadrado's mother Marcela reportedly goes everywhere with him and even spends hours plaiting the winger's hair. She cooks the winger his favourite lentil and chickpea stews, tells him off when he is naughty, and cheers him from the stands during every game.
Cuadrado has even starred with his mother in a tomato sauce TV ad in their homeland, and the pair shared a flat in Florence during the player's time with Italian side Fiorentina, the Daily Star reported.
Now they would live together in London along with Cuadrado's stepsister and his girlfriend Melissa Botero.
Marcela said that until Cuadrado has a family of his own, she would always be with him, insisting that they are very united.
The Colombian winger and his mother have been inseparable since his truck driver dad Guillermo was shot dead by guerrillas in the family home when he was just five.
Cuadrado claimed that Marcela has been both, a mother and a father to him, adding that his mother is the one who wears the trousers at home and is always telling him off.
