In a dramatic final here at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium at Fatorda on Sunday, FC Chennaiyin defeated FC Goa 3-2 to be crowned Indian Super League (ISL) season 2 champions.
The hosts were on the brink of winning the second edition of the league but an own goal from goalkeeper Kattimani and a 90th minute strike from Stiven Mendoza broke their heart and gave Chennaiyin FC their first ISL crown.
