Cheryl Cole has confessed that she had a "nervous breakdown" when Simon Cowell sacked her from the US 'X Factor' show.
Cole, who was earlier dating footballer Ashley Cole, said that something was badly wrong, the Daily Star reported.
The 31-year-old singer said that she did look in a mirror and thought about who she was.
The Brit songstress said that she didn't know what she felt about anything.
Cole told Elle Magazine that she went through hell and it literally drove her mad.
Cole added that she that Cowell was right to get rid of her.
