Chhattisgarh: Naxal carrying reward of Rs 5 Lakh surrenders

A Naxal who was active since 2011 and carrying a reward of Rs 5 lakh on her head surrendered before police on Saturday.

Inspector General of Police Himanshu Gupta said, "She was a part of eight incidents carried out by Naxals. She joined the Naxals in 2011. She used to work from Nagpur."

Last month, a wanted hardcore Naxal, Balbir, carrying a bounty of Rs 25 lakh on his head surrendered before the Jharkhand police.
